Hendrick Obee had the following child:
2 i. Hendrick
Hendricks Obee, born ca 1625, Orby,
Denmark; married Aeltjie Claes, ca 1650, New
Amsterdam, New Netherland; married Marritje Jans, 13 Jan 1692, New York
City, New York, British America; died aft Jan 1692, New York City,
New York, British America.
Second Generation
2. Hendrick Hendricks Obee2–3 (Hendrick-1) was born circa 1625 in Orby, Denmark.1,3 He died after Jan 1692 at the age
of 67 in New York City, New York, British America.3
Hendrick Obee was probably born about 1625 in Orby, Denmark. He arrived in New
Netherland during the mid-1640s. Obee resided in Brooklyn and New Amsterdam. He
married Aeltjie Claes about 1650. Their children were baptized in the Dutch
Reformed Church in New Amsterdam between 1651 and 1661.
Obee first appeared in the New Amsterdam court records in 1655. Hendrick was listed as a soldier in a 5 July 1655 court case. In December he was referred to as drummer.
Hendrick's name was on a list of catechumens of the Brooklyn Church in 1662. He took the Oath of Allegiance to England in 1664. Obee served as a city constable [1665], excise collector [1667] and juryman [1667]. He appeared in court as an attorney in 1668.
Aeltjie died before December 1691. Hendrick then married Marritje Jans, widow of Willem Janszen on 13 January 1692. [The date of marriage is frequently shown as his death date.]

Hendrick Hendricks Obee and
Aeltjie Claes were married circa 1650 in New Amsterdam, New Netherland.1,3 Aeltjie Claes2 was born circa 1628.1 She died before Dec 1691 at the
age of 63 in New York City, New York, British America.2
Aeltjie may have been the daughter of Claes Pietersen Sybrantsen and Marritje
Pieters. If this is the case, Marritje married, as her second husband, widower
Brent Peelen in New Netherland on 3 July 1643. At this time, Aeltjie was
Marritje's youngest child. There was an older brother, Sybrant Claesen.
According to the marriage contract, Peelen was to provide for the care and education
of young Aeltjie out of her paternal inheritance and estate. This suggests that
Aeltjie was well under the age of majority.
Considering that Aeltjie's first child was born in 1651, her birth would have fallen between 1630 [21] and 1635 [16]. Several Ancestral File entries suggest a birth as early as 1628. That would have made her about 15 in 1643. That does not fit the profile of a minor whose "care and education" was to be provided for.

Hendrick Hendricks Obee and Aeltjie Claes had the
following child:
3 i. Elizabeth /
Lysbeth Obee, born bef 28 Jul 1652, New
Amsterdam, New Netherland; married John / Jean / Jan Dally, 11 Aug 1668,
New York City, New York, British America; died ca 1700, New York City, New
York, British America.
Hendrick Hendricks Obee and
Marritje Jans were married on 13 Jan 1692 in New York City, New York, British
America.1,4
The couple registered the marriage on 26 December 1691. Marritje
Jans was born (date unknown).
Third Generation
3. Elizabeth / Lysbeth Obee2
(Hendrick Hendricks-2, Hendrick-1) was born before 28 Jul 1652 in New
Amsterdam, New Netherland.2 She was baptized on 28 Jul 1652
in Reformed Dutch Church, New Amsterdam, New Netherland.2 She died circa 1700 at the age
of 48 in New York City, New York, British America.5
Lysbeth was the second child born to Hendrick Obee and Aeltjie Claes in 1652.
She married John Dally in the Dutch Reformed Church in New York at the age of
16 in 1668. Lysbeth died prior to 2 March 1700, the date of her widowed husband's
second marriage.
Elizabeth / Lysbeth Obee and John
/ Jean / Jan Dally were married on 11 Aug 1668 in New York City, New York,
British America.6–7 John / Jean / Jan Dally6–7, son of Jean / John Dally and Marguerite Madou, was born
circa 1650 in New Amsterdam, New Netherland.6–7 He died circa 1708 at the age of
58 in New York City, New York, British America.6–7 John Dally was a farmer and carpenter by trade. He
probably spent time in Northampton Co., Virginia with his father, who paid a
tax on John, Jr. there in 1666. John would have been at least 16 at that time.
John / Jean / Jan Dally and Elizabeth / Lysbeth Obee had
the following child:
4 i. Nicholas Dally, born bef 16 Oct 1680, Reformed Dutch Church, New
Amsterdam, New Netherlands; married Elizabeth Creiger, 30 Aug
1702, Reformed Dutch Church, New York, New York, British America; died 28 Aug 1722, New York City,
