2. Sir John Jermy1 (William-1) was born circa 1225 in prob Suffolk, England.1 He died in Norfolk, England, United Kingdom. 1 Sir John may have been the "Jeremie" who was "Keeper of the Great Ship and Galleys in Portsmouth" and was greeted there by King Henry III in 1229.
Sir John Jermy and Margery Bigod were married circa 1245 in Norfolk, England.1 Margery Bigod1 was born circa 1230 in Norfolk, England.1 Margery [or Margaret] was believed to be the daughter of Rger Bigod, 4th Earl of Norfolk [1212-1270]. Roger married Isabelle, daughter of William, King of Scotland in May 1225 at Alnwick, Northumberland. Roger reportedly had no heirs, but some researchers believe he had two daughters.

3. Sir John Jermy1 (John-2, William-1) was born circa 1250 in Norfolk, England.1 He died circa 1315 at the age of 65 in Norfolk, England. 1 Sir John Jermy married Ann Langford about 1275. Following her death, he married Isabelle _______ about 1290. Jermy purchased land in Tharston, Norfolk 1303.

Sir William Jermy1 (John-3, John-2, William-1) was born circa 1275 in Kessingland, Suffolk, England, United Kingdom.1 He died in 1340 at the age of 65 in Kessingland, Suffolk, England, United Kingdom. 1 Sir William purchased land in Tharston in 1329 and 1334/5. He was a member of Parliament in 1335. William sold Kessingland and Gisleham holdings in 1339. Jermy was married twice. He married Isabelle Balliot [b. 1286] about 1296. She died by 1299, when he married Ellen Lampett. William died and was buried at Kessingland in 1340.
