Jersey.49 Elizabeth was the eldest daughter
of Aaron and Mary [Whitaker] Prall. She never married, but remained especially
close to brother Benjamin and his family. Elizabeth was named executrix of
Benjamin's estate in 1784. She was a seamstress by trade. Her inventory
included cotton, linen wool, thread, sleeve and knee buttons, and stock
buckles. There is a good chance that Elizabeth and Benjamin were in business
together and resided in quarters in the back of his store. She probably
continued to reside at and manage the store after her brother's death.
Elizabeth died intestate during the spring of 1795. Nephew Aaron Prall was named administrator of her estate on 7 May 1795. The inventory of her estate was filed on the 8th at a value of £137.1.3.
