There may be an update on the Treadway front. I was contacted by a researcher interested in my post on Thomas Treadway marrying Mary Ann Glover. He has Ann Deaver as a possible spouse for Thomas.
Thomas' daughter, Mary [Mrs. Clothworthy Cunningham] witnessed the will of Mary Deaver of Baltimore Co., MD in 1749. It is suspected that Mary might have been the granddaughter of Mary Deaver. The researcher's notes give the possible identity of Mary Deaver as Mary Ruff, wife of Richard.
Ann Tre(a)dway witnessed the will of John Deaver on 3 Jan 1731/2. Ann is believed to have been Ann Deaver, daughter of Richard Deaver and Mary Ruff.
The Treadway line would be:
[1] Thomas Treadway married Ann Deaver
[2] Mary Treadway married Clothworthy Cunningham
If I have the Deaver line sorted correctly
[1] Mary Treadway married Clothworthy Cunningham
[2] Ann Deaver married Thomas Treadway
[3] Richard Deaver married Mary Ruff
[4] John Deaver married Hannah Beall
A wrinkle in the story is that there is a 1703 marriage for Richard 'Devor' to a Mary, whose name was apparently illegible!
